The world has seen how violations and crimes were committed
to our young people. This has been a sad reality of the past, this continues to
grow today and no one knows what will happen in the past. Who knows what’s in
store for tomorrow; nevertheless, we salute those who work for the protection
of our defenseless and abused children.
My Youth Pro is a civic organization that works for the welfare of
thousands of volunteer workers who work to help rebuild the lives of millions
of abused and criminally violated young individuals.
The meteoric rise of statistical data of abused young
individuals demands a number of workers who can help rebuild their young lives
after their ordeal. However, there are impediments why volunteer workers can’t
just easily work. That is the reason why organizations like us are here, to
help professionalize the ranks of those who sacrificed a big part of their
personal lives to take care of the lives of those who were abused, neglected
and violated. We are here to ensure that each volunteer is at least trained to
do this job and gets a youth
intervention certification from us for that.
First, we are offering a very affordable and practical
training for the staffs and volunteer workers to enable them to have the basic
knowledge of this noble job they want to volunteer in. Our training courses are
available on-line, self paced and we made easy. Courses are designed to meet
the standard skills needed by frontline workers. Completing any of these
courses and passing confirmation of learning will merit a youth intervention certification.
We operate on the premise that trained volunteers working to
positively intervene in the lives of many abused youth will surely reap
positive results. Unless these volunteers are properly educated on the nature
of their work, on the cases they handle and the kind of lives they are trying
to uplift - everything will be a mess. That spells the basic need, why we are
here: to ensure that volunteer workers are properly trained and are certified
qualified workers for this type of job.
The modules of our trainings concentrate on eight core
competencies, each written and made easier by Psychologists who are active
medical practitioners in the field of psychology. The approach is customized
for non-professionals, thus medical and academic jargons were purposely
replaced with simple laymen terminologies. Syllabus and quizzes are being sent
through access links and competencies are being determined after confirmations
of learning tests are given. Until then we cannot issue a youth intervention certification.
